Psycholinguistics

Psycholinguistics researches the cognitive basis of human language processing. The research is interdisciplinary with links to psychology, neuroscience, computer science, philosophy and linguistics. In contrast to linguistics, the focus is not on the structures of language, but on its use, especially in speech.
